Jobstore are currently recruiting for a Field Service Engineer to join our clients state of the art operation and lead the maintenance, support and repair function for this organisation across the Home Counties, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Oxfordshire areas. This is a leading and well established business who are seeking a Field Service Engineer to provide comprehensive service, maintenance, repair, commissioning, and validation services for a wide range of client equipment operating in hospitals, biotechnology, pharmaceutical, and industrial settings. This role involves working across a number of locations to ensure the best performance and functionality of their bespoke products, aligning with client requirements and specific industry standards. Ideally the right applicant will have prior field service experience in a relevant technical field and a flexible approach to travel, with a willingness to accommodate occasional customer visits outside of regular working hours (which will be compensated at an enhanced overtime rate) Experience in some or all of the following areas is highly desirable: ISO 9001 Quality systems Working under GMP conditions Maintaining and certifying equipment to British, European, or International Standards PLC-based control systems IIE 18th Edition Control and Instrumentation systems Calibration systems Laboratory-type biomedical equipment The right applicant will have exceptional interpersonal and communication skills and long with the ability to work effectively under pressure, with strong self-management skills to achieve key targets and goals. Any prior experience working with any of the following would be highly advantageous; Microbiological Safety Cabinets, Flow Cabinets, Powder Control Booths, Fume Cupboards, Clean Rooms, Sterile Suites or Operating Theatres.
