Duties of the Estimator / Bodyshop VDA:
18. Accurately carry out detailed vehicle damage assessments tailored to customer and management expectations
19. Communicate effectively with customers, insurers, and third parties regarding repairs and claim processing.
20. Identify and advise on additional repairs beyond initial estimates, including costs and revised timelines
21. Follow up on all estimates to ensure customer satisfaction and timely repair progression
22. Liaise with insurance companies to access claim information and facilitate smooth claims handling
23. Finalise work quality through thorough inspections and quality checks
24. Support the Workshop Controller in achieving repair completion targets
25. Maintain clear and constant communication with approved repairers and colleagues
26. Ensure vehicle handovers meet quality and customer service standards
Requirements for the Estimator / Bodyshop VDA:
27. Previous experience in Vehicle Damage Estimating (ATA qualification desirable)
28. Strong understanding of the automotive industry and motor trade processes
29. Proven ability to influence, motivate, and manage teams effectively
30. Methodical, organised, and capable of prioritising workloads to meet deadlines
31. Full UK driving licence
32. An enthusiasm for delivering excellent customer service and quality repairs
