Sales Ledger & Credit Control Clerk - Nr Truro - £26,000
Trial Balance Consulting is pleased to be recruiting for a Cornish public services organisation experiencing significant growth. They are seeking a Sales Ledger and Credit Control Clerk to join their finance team. This is a full-time, permanent role based at the company’s headquarters near Truro.
The successful candidate will report to the Finance Manager and collaborate with colleagues across the organization. Key responsibilities include:
1. Managing the company’s accounts receivable function
2. Creating and issuing sales invoices using Sage-based systems
3. Allocating payments
4. Processing credit card payments
5. Managing aged debtor administration, including direct communication with customers regarding unpaid invoices
Ideal candidates will have experience with general ledgers and basic credit control management, either through part/fully AAT qualification or equivalent experience. Training on the company's bespoke accounting platform will be provided. Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel, is essential. The finance team is experienced and energetic, and the role suits a candidate with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
