Primech Building Services is seeking a skilled Commercial Pipefitter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will install, maintain, and repair piping systems for commercial buildings, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and industry standards. Your expertise will play a vital part in the successful delivery of various projects across different sectors.
* Install and assemble pipes, valves, fittings, and fixtures in accordance with project specifications and blueprints.
* Perform inspections and tests on piping systems to ensure they are functioning correctly.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with existing piping systems, and perform necessary repairs or modifications.
* Collaborate with other tradespeople and project teams to ensure effective project delivery.
* Maintain a safe and clean working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
* Keep accurate records of work completed, including material usage and time spent on tasks.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, practices, and safety standards.
* Proven experience as a Commercial Pipefitter or similar role in the construction or building services industry.
* Education and Healthcare project experience.
* Relevant qualifications and certifications in pipefitting or plumbing (e.g., NVQ Level 2 or 3).
* Strong knowledge of piping systems, installation techniques, and safety regulations.
* Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Good physical fitness and ability to work in various environments.
* Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
* Full UK driving license for site visits as needed.
* Willingness to undergo further training or certification if required.
