FM Conway is currently recruiting for a Incident Response Unit - HGV to join our dynamic Transport for London division. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in both reactive and planned highway maintenance, contributing to the safe and efficient operation of London's road network as part of the Transport for London Highway Maintenance and Projects Framework. This is afull-time, permanent position based at ourBeddington Lane office in Croydon, South London.
The duties of the Incident Response Unit - HGV will include:
-Carrying out a wide range of on-site maintenance tasks, including reinstating paving slabs, repairing asphalt surfaces, installing or replacing kerbstones, and fixing damaged signs, bollards, guardrails, and other street assets
-Meeting productivity targets and quality benchmarks in line with FM Conway and TfL expectations
-Contributing to a culture of safety by identifying hazards, reporting near misses, and promoting best practice
-Organising and transporting the necessary tools, equipment, and materials to and from the worksite
- Carrying out all works with care and with attention to health and safety, using the appropriate tools and safeguards
- Logging completed works, defect status, materials used, and site photos using digital systems
