Full-time (No evening shifts, alternate weekends off)
The hours are approximately 45 per week on a two week rota
4 day week then a 6 day week
About the Role of Chef
We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to join our kitchen team. Working under the guidance of the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager, you will help prepare and cook delicious, nutritious meals in a well-organized, supportive environment.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being part of a team, takes pride in producing quality food, and values a healthy work-life balancewith no evening shifts and alternate weekends off.
Chef Key Responsibilities
Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of meals to a high standard.
Support with menu planning and contribute ideas for daily specials or seasonal dishes.
Help with ordering, stock rotation, and minimizing food waste.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety throughout the kitchen.
Follow instructions from the Head Chef/Kitchen Manager and work effectively as part of the team.
Ensure dietary requirements and allergy information are followed carefully.
About You
Previous experience working as a Chef, Cook, or similar role.
Passion for producing tasty, well-presented food.
A good team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
Understanding of food hygiene and safety regulations (Food Hygiene certificate desirable).
Ability to work efficiently and remain calm in a busy kitchen.
