About The Role
The Sr. Analyst, Bids & Proposals will be responsible for coordinating content and constructing the back-end bid submission documents that are part of the RFI & RFP process for our waste & recycling services. This role involves acting as the go-between for all stakeholders in the bid process.
Responsibilities Include
* Preparing responses to Requests for Information (RFIs), ensuring Reworld compliance with client requirements for submission, and collaborating with various departments to deliver competitive and accurate bids.
* This role will support Reworld’s strategic growth initiatives and help to create a behind-the-scenes view of typical pricing by category (equipment, transportation, typical methods of disposal, fees, etc.), competitor analyses, and more.
* This person will report to the Manager, Bids & Proposals and be supported by various sales & solutions teams.
* This role will act as liaison to the appropriate Reworld Waste representatives from various departments within the company (i.e. sustainability, safety, legal/risk, insurance, etc.) to gather information and ensure timely completion of proposals.
* The Sr. Analyst, Bids & Proposals will conduct deal/financial analysis, market research, due diligence, and the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management as well as prospective customers.
What You Will Need
* Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Environmental Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications or additional qualifications in procurement or project management are a plus.
* Minimum of 2 years of data analysis, pricing, bidding/RFP, or program/project management experience in the waste industry.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with bidding software or tools.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and compliance.
* Ability to understand complex oral and written instructions.
* Ability to work effectively within tight RFP deadlines while managing competing priorities.
* Understanding of environmental services, sustainability, and technical waste-related terminology.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to present findings/solutions to senior management
