The Opportunity
A globally recognised ship management platform is strengthening its Sustainability, Quality and Vetting function as regulatory scrutiny, environmental accountability and operational transparency continue to rise across global shipping. This role sits at the centre of the management system that underpins safe vessel operations, regulatory compliance and audit readiness across an international fleet.
As shipping enters a period of increased environmental oversight and operational accountability, strong governance and management systems are becoming commercially critical. This position supports the systems, controls and reporting that ensure vessels remain compliant with international regulations, internal standards and external vetting expectations.
The successful candidate will work closely with the Sustainability, Quality and Vetting leadership team, helping maintain the operational frameworks that support fleet safety, environmental protection and operational performance.
The Impact You Will Have
• Support the governance and monitoring of fleet compliance with ISM, ISPS and environmental management systems
• Coordinate external audits, surveys and certification processes across the vessel network
• Maintain and update critical operational documentation including ship security and environmental response plans
• Support new vessel takeovers by preparing and coordinating compliance documentation and regulatory materials
• Ensure quality reporting, document control and audit preparation across sustainability and quality management processes
What Success Looks Like
• Experience within shipping, maritime operations or vessel management environments
• Strong organisational discipline with the ability to manage documentation, audits and compliance processes accurately
• Solid understanding of maritime regulations including ISM, ISPS and environmental frameworks
• Confident communicator capable of working across vessel crews and shore based teams
• Detail oriented with strong IT and reporting capabilities using standard office systems
