We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Maintenance Manager at Nutfield Priory Hotel and Spa, Surrey, part of Hand Picked Hotels. Nutfield Priory, our award-winning country house hotel and spa, is regarded as one of the best hotels in Redhill, Surrey. With elegant décor, spacious rooms, a relaxing spa and many modern amenities throughout, our boutique country house hotel in Surrey is an oasis of tranquillity.
Responsibilities
* Lead by example and help ensure the Maintenance Team are motivated and inspired to consistently deliver exceptional service, putting the guest at the heart of all activities.
* Take ownership of the safety and security of the hotel and all guests, including maintaining accurate health and safety records.
* Train and coach a highly motivated team to maintain the hotel to a consistent standard, monitoring and improving delivery of company brand standards and SOPs.
* Work under pressure and meet tight deadlines as a key part of the role.
* Be inspired, have fun and contribute as part of the Hand Picked Team.
Qualifications
* Current hotel Assistant Maintenance management or Supervisory experience within a 4 or 5 star luxury hotel.
* Confident with all aspects of hotel maintenance administration, particularly Health & Safety, with good knowledge of maintenance and keeping the hotel immaculate and in excellent working condition.
* Proven experience in training and coaching colleagues and motivating others.
* Excellent at building rapport with colleagues and guests.
* Professional, organised and friendly approach with the ability to anticipate guests' needs and create memories.
* Candidates must be eligible to live and work in the UK.

* A competitive salary package of £36,000 per year, plus a share of service charge.
* Full-Time role working 5 days out of 7 including weekends on a rota basis, 40 hours per week, with variation possible based on business needs.
