Head of Learning & Talent Management (3 days part-time) at CBRE

The Head of Learning & Talent Management is accountable for developing, leading, and implementing the LT&M strategy across the GWS Global Local business. This includes the design and delivery of effective learning tools, programs and solutions that enable the Local business to achieve its strategic plans and goals and embed the Local Target Operating Model (LTOM). The role requires close partnership with the GWS Global Local People Partner community and business leadership teams to create, implement and deliver a comprehensive range of tools and programs focused on talent development, business unit development, critical role delivery, career development and people management/leadership capability. The role represents GWS Local as part of the global GWS L&TM team, leading globally led programs and advocating for Local L&TM needs.

To be successful, the Head of LT&M will be a subject matter expert and a visible, innovative leader who can drive change while maintaining high integrity and professional standards. This role is part-time (3 days per week), based at our London Head Office, with a hybrid working pattern.


What You’ll Do

* Act as a change expert, ensuring learning & development interventions are central to change programs and supporting leaders in delivery
* Create and deliver initiatives that align with CBRE RISE values and desired GWS Local behaviours
* Build and maintain partnerships with global and Divisional business leaders and L&TM partners within the Divisions
* Maintain regular, high-quality contact with key senior internal stakeholders
* Develop LT&M plans that deliver outcomes aligned to various areas of the business
* Provide input on LT&M policies and processes and aid in policy development aligned with country practices
* Share insights from outside CBRE to broaden internal thinking and market capability
* Ensure compliance with internal policy requirements and external legal requirements
* Lead and oversee LT&M programs that support talent attraction, development, and retention
* Ensure learning solutions fit within defined budgetary parameters
* Leverage existing vendor relationships and vet new vendors as needed
* Develop internal SMEs into facilitators or LT&M champions to support delivery
* Leverage the CBRE Talent & Learning platform and report on ROI and success metrics
* Work with leaders and SMEs to deliver properly certified courses and keep them updated
* Attract, recruit, and retain LT&M team members; provide coaching and career development
* Motivate and lead the LT&M team to a high-performance, results-based culture
* Contribute to the development of global L&TM programs and initiatives
* Participate in regular L&TM meetings and forums to share knowledge and influence Talent and Learning strategy


What You’ll Need

* Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive LT&M experience within a multinational organisation
* Proven ability to create innovative and scalable LT&M programmes, tools and resources
* Effective influencer and trusted advisor
* Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with strong change leadership
* Experience in managing LT&M budgets and financial analysis
* Degree level or equivalent in Business or Human Resources or related discipline
* Training & assessment qualification in a relevant industry body
