Claims Manager, Green Technology Portfolio Contract: 6 month fixed term contract Hours: 22.5 per week Location: Warrington Reporting to: Senior Legal and Compliance Counsel The Role An experienced Claims Manager is required to take full ownership of historic and ongoing customer and insurance claims within a green technology portfolio, including energy management systems. This role is critical to protecting the commercial and reputational position of the business. You will manage claims end to end in a complex, high volume environment, ensuring matters are handled efficiently, compliantly and with commercial common sense. This is not a passenger seat role. You will be expected to take control, challenge where needed and drive claims to resolution. Key Responsibilities Lead the end to end management of customer and insurance claims across the green technology and EMS portfolio Act as the main point of contact for insurers, brokers, loss adjusters, internal teams and external legal advisors Review, organise and maintain full and accurate claim documentation including schedules of loss, correspondence, expert reports and policy information Coordinate investigations and evidence gathering with operational, finance, legal and technical teams to support robust claims strategies Manage financial aspects of claims including reserves, budgets and spend in line with governance and insurer requirements Ensure full compliance with policy conditions, notification timelines and insurer reporting obligations Provide clear, proactive updates to senior stakeholders on claim status, exposure, risk and emerging trends Manage external law firms and advisors to secure commercially sound outcomes Drive timely and pragmatic claim resolution without losing technical accuracy Support continuous improvement of claims processes, controls and documentation standards Identify recurring issues and risk trends to inform wider risk management activity Operate effectively across multiple group entities as required Experience Proven experience managing complex customer and insurance claims within energy, infrastructure or green technology environments Comfortable handling a high volume, multi file caseload with minimal supervision Strong track record of working with insurers, loss adjusters and legal counsel on contentious or high value claims Knowledge Strong understanding of insurance policy interpretation, claims reserving and insurer expectations Experience across customer, civil and insurance claims processes Working knowledge of regulatory, contractual and risk considerations within energy and green technology sectors Attributes Highly organised, resilient and effective under pressure Commercially minded with sharp attention to detail Confident communicator who can hold their own with senior stakeholders Competencies Ability to set and drive claims strategy in complex environments Skilled at managing multiple stakeholders with competing priorities Clear and concise written and verbal reporting at senior level Working Pattern and Flexibility Part time role, approximately three days per week Initial six month contract with potential extension to twelve months Warrington based with flexibility for occasional travel as required
