New Directions Education are recruiting Key stage 1 Teachers/NQT’s to work with primary schools in the Cardiff area to help cover supply for short term or long-term bookings.
New Directions are an award-winning recruitment agency, and are one of the preferred supply agencies in the Cardiff area. This gives our Teachers/NQT’s the opportunity to work with and build great working relationships with different primary schools across Cardiff.

Job Specification
If you are a newly qualified teacher (NQT) or experienced Teacher, we offer roles which include delivering the curriculum in Key Stage 1 (KS1) to Key Stage 2 (KS2)
1. Teach all areas of the school curriculum or your subject specialism
2. Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a positive teaching environment
3. Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges
4. Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation
5. Maintain discipline
6. Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
7. Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
8. Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
9. Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
10. Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly within smaller schools
