We are recruiting two Supply Planning Controllers to join a large, fast-paced supply chain operation based in Wakefield.
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the office.
Applicants must live within commutable distance of Wakefield. Ideal locations include Wakefield, Leeds or Barnsley.
The Role
This position combines elements of product life cycle management and operational supplier performance. You will play a key role in ensuring product availability, managing supplier performance, and maintaining inventory accuracy across a complex distribution network.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse demand and support stockholding decisions (Stocked vs eDirect)
* Plan and place supplier orders
* Support new product onboarding and transitions
* Monitor supplier OTIF performance
* Manage aged, suspended and excess stock
* Maintain accurate inventory data
* Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to resolve supply issues
* Support continuous improvement across planning and supply processes
What We're Looking For
on your CV
* Experience in Inventory, Supply Planning or Supplier Performance Management
* Intermediate Excel skills (Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP highly beneficial)
