Hotel Director of Food & Beverage Mongolia for a luxury Boutique city center Property
This opportunity is best suited for a hands on professional with extensive international experience in luxury hotels both with am independent and a brand who has a deep understanding of global culinary trends, guest expectations, and operational excellence. This is a Leading Hotels of the World Boutique property which will be very busy due to its central location and Michelin star restaurant.
The Director of Food & Beverage will be responsible for the overall direction, management, and performance of all F&B operations, including multiple dining venues, bars, in-room dining, banqueting, and event catering. This role requires a leader with a passion for hospitality, a refined palate, and strong business acumen to deliver exceptional guest experiences while driving profitability and innovation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lead and manage the overall operations of all Food & Beverage outlets and services in the hotel.
2. Develop and implement strategies to position the hotel’s dining experiences among the top in the region and brand portfolio.
3. Ensure all outlets meet brand standards and deliver consistently high levels of guest satisfaction.
4. Provide strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring to F&B managers and their teams.
5. Oversee recruitment, training, and development of F&B staff to ensure service excellence and talent retention.
6. Collaborate with the Executive Chef and culinary team to curate menus that reflect international trends while incorporating local inspiration and flavors.
7. Drive revenue growth and manage F&B cost controls through strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
8. Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners, ensuring quality and cost-effective sourcing.
9. Ensure all health, safety, and sanitation standards are strictly adhered to across all F&B areas.
10. Lead innovation in food and beverage concepts, guest experiences, and sustainability initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications
1. Minimum of 6-8 years of progressive leadership experience in Food & Beverage within internationally branded luxury hotels or resorts.
2. Strong background in managing multiple high-end F&B venues, banquet operations, and large-scale events.
3. Demonstrated international experience in multicultural environments.
4. Deep understanding of global F&B trends, fine dining, mixology, and guest service excellence.
5. Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
6. Strong financial acumen with experience managing multi-million dollar budgets, forecasting, and achieving KPIs.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Fluent in English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
9. Degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, F&B Management, or a related field preferred.
