At the Pelt Trader we have over ten beers on tap from some of the best breweries in the UK and abroad. Our homemade pizza is legendary.
Responsibilities
* interacting with customers
* assessing bar customers' needs and preferences and making recommendations
* ordering and monitoring stock - ensure minimal wastage of stock through rotation and storage
* receiving and checking deliveries, storing documentation appropriately
* managing staff including organising and adjusting staff rotas
* leading on all staff training
* performance manage and set objectives/incentives for bar staff
* completing open and closing checks, checking cash ups
* cellar management
* maintaining cleanliness and hygiene to a five star standard
* implement relevant legislation regarding service of alcohol
* promote and practice compliance with fire, health, food and drink safety and hygiene standards and regulations.
Qualifications
* previous experience in a fast paced working environment
* passion for customer service and teamwork
* interest in keg and cask beer, real ale and cider
* personality
* complete competence in running shifts & leading a team
Hours & Salary
This is a full time position of 45 hours per week. Working days are Monday to Friday – a mix of daytime and evening/night shifts. You may be expected to work additional hours.
