Position: First Employee
Location: Biggleswade
Shift: Monday to Friday 2pm – 10pm
What is your role?
As a first employee, you will support the day to day running of our Outbound shift. Ensuring all customer orders are met maximizing efficiency and quality.
You will be responsible for making sure all orders are fulfilled accurately and on time, vehicles are loaded safely and correctly. All stock is claimed and put away in line with KPIs
This is a hands on warehouse role with an important admin element, so confidence using computer systems and handling data is essential.
Provide leadership and operate as a role model, offering support and motivating small teams of logistics operators
Key responsibilities will include:
5. Ensure all team members follow all processes/procedures correctly and feedback to supervisors on potential improvements points
6. Report progress updates, key achievements, and any concerns to the Warehouse Supervisor
7. Act as the team expert and provide training support and be the first point of contact for queries from colleagues
8. The role will involve both warehouse duties and admin tasks, including regular computer based work.
9. Follow company procedures, ensuring that best practices are observed, and safe systems of work are being always followed.
10. Motivate and focus staff to achieve set targets and a high-quality service to our customers.

Who are you?
For this job we have a couple of requirements:
11. Previous warehouse experience, ideally leading a small team of people; use of scanning equipment
12. Experience of driving a forklift truck (licenses are an advantage but not essential as we provide full training)
13. A Focused and motivated individual with a desire to progress and develop.
14. Embraces change and finds new ways of doing things.
15. A keen eye for detail and a sound understanding of right first time.
16. Strong communication skills with a mature and professional approach
