Your responsibilities will include conducting internal programme audits, base audits, and aircraft inspections, as well as supporting managers in developing and tracking the implementation of corrective action plans. You’ll monitor compliance with regulatory standards such as EASA, UK Air Operations, and Third Country Operator Requirements, while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement within our Compliance Monitoring Systems. Additionally, you’ll represent the Compliance Monitoring team in meetings and forums, and assist with compliance investigations, reporting, and performance analysis.This varied and rewarding role offers the chance to collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally, to uphold the highest standards of compliance and safety. Travel may be required, sometimes at short notice, with occasional overnight stays.Responsibilities of Compliance Monitoring AuditorEnsure that the activities are monitored for compliance with the applicable regulatory requirements and standards, as well as any additional requirements as established by the companyShall support the Compliance Monitoring Manager (CMM) to ensure that the Compliance Monitoring Programme is properly implemented, maintained, continually reviewed, and improvedCompiling and recording audit scopes, checklists and audit reports and identifying non-conformities and opportunities for system improvementsPlan and conduct audits and inspections in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring ProgrammeIf required, supporting responsible managers in the development of their corrective action plansReviewing corrective action plans for accuracy and effectiveness and offering support to ensure corrective action plans are comprehensiveTracking the implementation of corrective action plans to ensure timely completionEnsuring findings raised are closed satisfactorily or escalated to the CMMAbility to demonstrate relevant knowledge, background and appropriate experience related to the activities of, including knowledge and experience in compliance monitoring; and respects accessibility to all parts of the organisation, and if necessary, any contracted organisationAct as the compliance monitoring point of contact for their assigned area of specialty and auditsSupport the development and implementation of the Compliance Monitoring SystemsAssist with compliance monitoring which includes a feedback system to the accountable manager to ensure corrective action as necessaryMonitors the continued compliance, and remains knowledgeable on with the requirements of EASA and UK Air Operations and Air Crew Regulations, Third Country Operator Requirements, National Statutory Instruments in Aviation, and the Rules of the AirConduct Operational Compliance investigations and projects as requiredAssist the CMM in the Monitoring of Compliance Safety Performance Indicators (SPIs), and trending analysis as requiredMaintain regulatory compliance with applicable UK CAA regulations in accordance with the Compliance Monitoring ProgrammeResponsible for correct administration of the compliance database software and online systemsRepresenting the Compliance Monitoring function at departmental meetings and other forums as required by the CMMAs and when required deputise for the CMMSkills, Qualifications and Experience required for Compliance Monitoring Auditor:EssentialRecognised internal auditor or investigator training (internal investigations)Prior experience as an auditor, or Investigator working within a quality management system or compliance monitoring systemExperience within an EASA/UK regulated aviation environment, preferably within an AOC operation or an ATO with supporting Safety Management SystemExperienced in working with a Compliance or Safety Management system (e.g IQSMS, Centrik, Qpulse, Air Maestro)Excellent analytical, organisational and report-writing skillsGood organisation skills including record keeping of audit evidence, and arrangement to ensure the running of an efficient auditStrong interpersonal skills, including conflict management and influencingA full UK Driving Licence and valid PassportOpen to security / background checks as may be required for some audit arrangementsAdvantageousRecognised Lead Auditor Qualification (ISO or Aviation related)Recognised UK or EASA Air Operation Regulations CourseRecognised Root Cause Investigation and Analysis Training courseDangerous Goods by Air Operators course3 years working in a compliance monitoring or quality environment.Familiarity with root cause analysis and ISO 9001In addition to a Competitive Salary, we will offer you:Great Work-Life Balance with our Hybrid Working Policy – 3 days in the office, 2 days from homeCompetitive Group Pension SchemeComprehensive Life Assurance *Comprehensive Income Protection *Comprehensive Travel Insurance *Comprehensive Private Healthcare (after successful passing of probation) *Free Car Parking2 Paid Volunteering Days each calendar year (subject to line manager approval)Investment in Training, Qualifications and Professional DevelopmentThis is a fantastic opportunity to join a great company and team of people.
