Our friendly and supportive team at the Sexual Health Garden Clinic is looking for an experienced Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our growing Level 3 service based in Slough and Bracknell, with satellite clinics across Windsor and Maidenhead.
We provide high-quality sexual health and contraception services to a diverse community and operate Monday to Friday, with a requirement to work 1 Saturday every 4‑6 weeks.
We are seeking a compassionate, open‑minded, and non‑judgmental individual who can work within a highly confidential environment. Applicants must hold an NMC Adult Nurse registration and hold, or be working towards, a recognised Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) qualification. Previous experience in contraception and sexual health within a GUM setting is essential, alongside evidence of continuing professional development.
As part of our team, you will support patients with a wide range of sexual health needs, including STI testing and treatment, HIV care, and contraception services. You will also have access to excellent development opportunities, including the potential to undertake Non‑Medical Prescriber training.
We deliver both in‑house services and community outreach clinics, and you may be required to work across all locations.

Main duties of the job
* Conduct nurse‑led clinical sessions, including history taking and physical examinations, within departmental guidelines and one's clinical competence.
* Issue or administer medication and vaccinations to patients, adhering legally to Patient Group Directions (PGDs) when authorised by the lead clinician.
* Undertake training in intrauterine and implant procedures and incorporate this knowledge into practice.
* Gain independent (non‑medical) prescribing status and apply prescribing duties in line with organisational policies.
* Participate in Health Advising training and rotate to support the Health Advising team when necessary.
* Teach patients, where appropriate, to self‑administer their treatment.
