This is an exciting opportunity for you to be responsible for the expansion and management of our portfolio in East Sussex and Kent. You will be involved in the full asset lifecycle from initial site identification, negotiation, and land/site acquisition. You will lead a professional team through planning, obtaining consents, supporting construction, and managing assets. Developing relationships with landlords, tenants, local authorities, agents, and developers is key.
This role offers ownership of the full development and planning process from concept to completion, requiring excellent communication and negotiation skills, multi-tasking, and deadline management.

What you'll do
Identify, negotiate, and acquire freehold and leasehold deals for new stores.
Conduct site inspections, development appraisals, and manage due diligence.
Oversee planning application processes from submission to discharge.
Lead expansion, relocation, and infrastructure projects.
Build and maintain relationships with local authorities, agents, landlords, tenants, and developers.
Manage the full development and planning process from concept to completion.
Handle real estate management of freehold and leasehold assets.
What you'll need
Self-motivated with a proactive attitude.
Degree-level education (minimum 2:2), preferably in a relevant field.
Experience in retail acquisitions, land buying, commercial property, or town planning.
MRICS qualification is preferred.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Analytical mindset with the ability to multi-task.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Full driving license and willingness to travel across the UK.
