We’re looking for a talented Creative and Branding Officer to join our Communications and Engagement team on a one-year fixed-term contract. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a really supportive and creative team, using your design skills to make a real impact across Dorset. You will work alongside communication officers to let residents know about the services the council provides.

What You’ll Be Doing
* Designing high-quality graphics and content for campaigns, websites, social media, and print.
* Managing the Dorset Council brand and ensuring consistency across all communications.
* Supporting colleagues with brand advice and creative guidance.
* Leading multiple design projects from concept to delivery.
* Creating engaging content including photography, video, and audio.
* Working with external suppliers to ensure best value and quality.
What We’re Looking For
* A degree (or equivalent) in graphic design.
* Strong experience using Adobe Creative Suite.
* A portfolio showing creative work across digital and traditional media.
* Experience working within brand guidelines and managing multiple projects.
* Excellent communication and planning skills.
* Confidence working with stakeholders and advising senior colleagues.
* A commitment to accessibility and inclusive design.
