Job Overview
The role is to support the Senior Business Accountants within Unplanned Care in the provision of high quality accurate financial information. Provide analysis and advice to managers within the Trust in the most timely and effective manner, and co‑ordinate the production of monthly financial information to facilitate the production of monthly financial reports.
Responsibilities
* Support the Business Accountant in providing financial information, analysis and advice to budget holders.
* Support the production of monthly financial management information, completing variance analysis and forecasting.
* Attend regular meetings with budget holders; assist in the budget setting process and reporting systems that enable an effective financial management service to Unplanned Care.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* CCAB or CIMA Post Graduate Diploma Level or equivalent experience.
Experience
* Minimum 3 years financial management experience of which 2 years should be in management accounts.
* Experience of staff management.
* Desirable: Experience of NHS Finance.

* Good knowledge of the main aspects of NHS Finance, particularly those relevant to financial management.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
