We are a busy, large department in a fast-paced teaching hospital. The ability to work under pressure and respond to a frequently changing environment is essential.
Responsibilities
* Distribute inpatient, outpatient, community unit, self-medication wallets, discharge medication (TTOs), controlled drugs (CDs) and HIV pharmaceuticals under the direction, control and, where necessary, the direct supervision of a Senior Pharmacy Technician or suitably qualified person, against previously clinically checked prescriptions.
* Support the delivery of departmental services under the direction, control and, where necessary, direct supervision of the Principal Pharmacist, EPMA, and provide support for computerised systems and robotics within the Pharmacy Department.
* Act as a role model and demonstrate NNUH PRIDE values in all aspects of work and encourage an inclusive culture.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Ability to work under pressure and adapt to a frequently changing environment.
* Experience in hospital pharmacy dispensing or relevant qualifications.
* Commitment to delivering a high quality, safe and compassionate healthcare service and upholding PRIDE values.
