Overview

Job title: Cluster Sales Manager, Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin, Cheltenham. Rate of pay - competitive and based on experience / Hours: 45. Permanent Contract - yes.

Due to a well deserved internal promotion, a fantastic opportunity has arisen in our Malmaison & Hotel Du Vin properties in regency Cheltenham. As Cluster Sales Manager across both hotels, you will drive the Hotel Commercial Action Plans. Reporting into the Regional Director of Sales and the Cluster General Manager, you will ensure that both brands are represented in the local market and national arena whilst actively looking for new opportunities and cross selling all hotels within Mal / HdV. You will manage and lead the enquiry process and drive the sales pipeline in all segments of the business from corporate groups to Food and Beverage activations, working closely with our meetings events team and the wider commercial teams across the estate. You will head up our new sales incentive programme for your hotel teams, working to ensure a sales culture is alive in the business and that communication within the departments and across the two hotels is implemented with maximum efficiency. Most importantly, you will have the skills to develop strong relationships with your key clients and our guests within the hotels. You will be a self starter, organised and able to prioritise actions whilst managing tasks through to completion. It goes without saying that excellent communication skills in both verbal and oral are essential as is confidence in presenting to senior decision makers in other businesses. Experience in a similar role would be beneficial as would a working knowledge of the Hotel industry.


Responsibilities

* Drive the Hotel Commercial Action Plans across Malmaison and Hotel Du Vin properties in Cheltenham.
* Report into the Regional Director of Sales and the Cluster General Manager; ensure brand representation in local and national markets while identifying new opportunities and cross-selling across the estate.
* Manage and lead the enquiry process and drive the sales pipeline in all segments (corporate, groups, events, F&B activations).
* Collaborate with the meetings/events team and wider commercial teams to maximise opportunities.
* Head up the new sales incentive programme for hotel teams; promote a sales culture and ensure effective cross-departmental communication.
* Develop strong relationships with key clients and guests within the hotels.
* Act as a self-starter, stay organized, prioritise actions, and drive tasks through to completion.
* Exhibit excellent communication skills (verbal and written) and confidence in presenting to senior decision makers.
* Leverage experience in a similar role and working knowledge of the hotel industry.

* Experience in a similar role would be beneficial.

* Self-starter with strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritise and manage tasks through to completion.
