Facilities Maintenance Electrician About the Role: We are currently looking for a diligent, detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Electrician to join our clients team at our advanced manufacturing facility in Darwen. The role focuses on maintaining safe and efficient electrical systems, providing reactive repairs, and ensuring plant and equipment uptime across a busy production environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled electrician who enjoys a varied role, working both independently and as part of a supportive team to help keep operations running smoothly. Key Responsibilities: Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in line with Health & Safety policies and safe working practices. Deliver planned and reactive maintenance services across the facility, minimising downtime and maximising productivity. Maintain accurate documentation for all work carried out, including permits, risk assessments, service logs and maintenance records. Liaise with and support external contractors, ensuring their work aligns with safety and operational standards. Support environmental improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for energy and waste reduction. Provide unsupervised electrical and mechanical fault finding, repairs, testing, installation and commissioning.
