This is a senior leadership role responsible for owning and improving engineering master data within SAP across a global manufacturing business. The Engineering Master Data Manager will lead a team, drive data accuracy, and ensure critical engineering data – materials, BOMs, routings and equipment – is standardised, clean and aligned across multiple international sites.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that everyone across the world is using the same correct product and manufacturing data.
* Maintain alignment and reliability of systems such as SAP and PLM.
* Keep data clean, structured and fit for purpose with regular travel to global sites.
* Control changes to products or processes so they are consistent and governed.
* Drive improvement in data accuracy and standardisation across all sites.
* Support transformation projects by providing reliable data.
* Travel frequently to global sites to support continuous improvement.
Qualifications
* A proven leader – not just a data specialist.
* Ability to drive change on a global scale.
* Strong SAP and engineering data expertise.
* Experience in complex manufacturing environments.
* Capability to influence multiple stakeholders.
Eligibility & Travel
* Must be eligible to pass SC clearance; therefore VISA sponsorship cannot be considered.
* Frequent global travel required.
* Background in engineering preferred.
