Take the lead for first line maintenance of several production machines, including operational decisions to achieve targets.
Identify and repair mechanical breakdowns on various machinery.
Be accountable for the performance of several machines, processes, or pieces of equipment.
Use diagnostic tools and methods to identify the root causes of problems.
Coordinate a small team of operators and temporary associates to achieve line targets.
Assist operators with daily production tasks to ensure line targets are met.
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Mars Wrigley factory in Slough. We seek mechanically-minded individuals with a passion for maintenance, whether your experience involves ships, cars, tanks, lifts, generators, or similar mechanical industries. Your practical mechanical experience is key.
What are we looking for?
1. Minimum 1 year of experience managing and coordinating operators.
2. Skilled in diagnosing mechanical issues through systematic troubleshooting techniques.
3. Proficient in disassembling machinery to understand components and reassembling it correctly for optimal operation.
4. A keen eye for detail to identify faults or inefficiencies and ensure precision during assembly and disassembly.
5. A commitment to ongoing improvement, including suggesting modifications to enhance efficiency, safety, or performance.
6. Ability to work effectively in teams, sharing insights and collaborating to implement improvements and resolve issues.

Salary & Benefits
From £40,000 to £48,000 (including shift allowance), depending on experience.
Performance-related bonus and a welcome bonus of £2,000.
Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off (2 day, 2 night, 4 off), 12-hour shifts.
