Pertemps are currently recruiting for skilled Electrical Assembly Technicians to join a growing manufacturing team based in Tipton.
This is a full-time, on-site role working within a fast-paced production environment, assembling and fitting specialist industrial equipment to high quality standards. The successful candidate will work as part of a dedicated team, supporting production targets while maintaining excellent attention to detail and safe working practices.
Key Responsibilities
Mechanical and electrical assembly of industrial equipment
Working from engineering drawings, work instructions and quality documentation
Using air, electric and manual tools safely and effectively
Completing fitting and assembly work to required torque settings and specifications
Diagnosing and resolving basic mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults
Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and housekeepingThe Ideal Candidate Will Have
Experience within mechanical or electrical assembly
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Experience working with mechanical, hydraulic or electrical components
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Own tools preferredWorking Hours
Monday – Thursday: 07:30 – 16:30
Friday: 07:30 – 12:30 (early finish)Pay & Benefits
£12.71 per hour, increasing to £13.50 per hour after a successful trial period
