Our specialist New Build Developer Mortgage Service is a dedicated offering for housebuilders and new homes buyers, combining our technology, national mortgage broker network, and a customer-first approach to deliver a smooth, reliable mortgage process from enquiry to completion.

Role Overview

If you're a newly qualified CeMAP adviser looking to gain real-world experience, build your client skills, and get hands-on with the mortgage process — this role is your springboard.

As part of our New Build Client Engagement Team (CET), you'll be the first point of contact for new build mortgage enquiries. You'll guide customers through the initial stages — from enquiry and Mortgage in Principle (MIP) to credit score checks — before handing qualified, proceedable cases to our specialist new homes broker team.

You'll also work closely with national and regional housebuilders, supporting their site sales teams to maximise reservations and deliver a best-in-class service for both partners and customers.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Engagement & Qualification

· Respond to and qualify all new build mortgage enquiries promptly.

· Complete AIPs and carry out soft credit score checks.

· Provide customers with indicative monthly payments and guide them on affordability.

· Hand over proceedable cases to our new homes mortgage broker team for research and recommendation.

Partner Support

· Act as the go-to contact for assigned national and regional housebuilders.

· Build strong relationships with on-site sales teams, regional directors, and developer partners.

· Support new site launches and sales events by providing mortgage qualification expertise.

Sales Performance

· Drive mortgage conversion rates by ensuring customers are mortgage-ready at the earliest stage.

· Support developers in achieving maximum reservation rates per site.

· Proactively follow up with warm leads and re-engage potential buyers.

Operational Excellence

· Work within agreed SLAs to process applications quickly and accurately.

· Liaise with internal processing teams to ensure a smooth handover of cases.

· Keep meticulous records within our CRM system to maintain compliance and reporting accuracy.

Reporting & Compliance

· Track and report on lead volumes, conversion rates, and partner performance.

· Ensure all activity is carried out in line with FCA regulations and company policies.

What We're Looking For

· CeMAP-qualified (or equivalent) — perfect for those newly qualified and looking to gain industry experience.

· Strong communication skills and a genuine passion for delivering an excellent customer experience.

· Organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple cases simultaneously.

· Confidence in using technology and CRM systems.

· Self-motivated, with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn from experienced brokers.
