This is a field based role with regular travel to our dental practices in the South West.
The Role
Bupa Dental Care has over 350 practices across the country. Each practice has commercial targets for private dentistry growth and needs to fulfil any NHS contracts in place. National marketing campaigns are conducted throughout the year, but it’s essential that practices are supported at a local level too.
In your role as Local Marketing Manager, you will build relationships with practices in your region, understand their challenges and work quickly to provide advice, solutions and local marketing plans (using online and offline channels). You will need to work collaboratively with marketing colleagues in the central brand, digital, CRM and design teams to ensure the activity is executed to best effect.
What you\'ll be doing
* Deliver local marketing plans across your region, working closely with Regional Directors, Area Managers and Practice Managers to identify growth opportunities.
* Create bespoke plans for focus practices with modest budgets (under £5k), using the right mix of on‑ and offline channels to maximise ROI.
* Support Practice Managers in delivering activity and coach them on best practice, using strong commercial acumen to review performance and evaluate results.
* Lead the development and delivery of local and national BDC campaigns, working with creative, digital, social and CRM teams to produce integrated plans.
* Manage campaign timelines and budgets, report on KPIs, and maintain strong relationships with agencies, suppliers and practices.
* Optimise local marketing tools, including Complete, and create toolkits, guides and practice TV content that support effective in‑practice marketing.
* Ensure practices are on‑brand, promoting treatments and services that drive engagement, up‑sell and cross‑sell.
* Champion a customer‑centric approach by understanding the customer journey and improving online, offline and in‑practice touchpoints.
* Support the annual brand plan, work with the Integration Marketing Manager on new acquisitions, and contribute to team development and ways of working.
What you\'ll bring
* At least 5 years marketing experience, with at least 3 years’ working within direct response
* Experience in both offline and online communications
* B2C experience (within dental / healthcare would be an added advantage)
* Excellent relationship building and stakeholder management
* Used to working in a fast pace environment and ability to multi-task is essential
* Customer focused with experience of delivering insight based marketing programmes and communications
* Excellent planning and organisational abilities
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Analytical and commercial – able to make commercial decisions that will positively impact the bottom line
* Pro-active self starter with a can-do attitude; uses initiative to make things happen
* Willing to travel regularly
