An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Principal Teacher of Intensive Support at Kinross High School.
This new position will support the establishment of an Intensive Support provision, with one class expected to be established in 2025 and another from August 2026.

As the Principal Teacher of Intensive Support, you will develop learning programmes for young people with complex and enduring additional support needs, helping them achieve their goals through secondary education.
You will collaborate closely with colleagues in the support faculty (Principal Teachers of Pupil Support and Guidance) and partner agencies involved in the support team around the child or young person.
You will also oversee a team of staff that will evolve as the needs of the support provision change.
Skills & Experience Required
Our ideal candidate is passionate about achieving success for all young people.
You should have experience working with young people with complex needs, be an inclusive practitioner applying GIRFEC principles, and capable of helping each young person overcome barriers to learning to reach their full potential.
