The job itself
A funny and kind 18-year-old young woman is looking for a support worker to join her in a variety of enjoyable activities including, going to theme parks, wildlife parks, trips to the beach and going for cake. An ideal worker will be creative and work with the young person to come up with other fun activities.
She also enjoys horse riding, theatre, reading, doing jigsaw puzzles, and watching Netflix. She is also a big Harry Potter fan.
The hours for this role are 4 in term time and 8 in the holidays. Days and times to be arranged with the young person. Term time hours will be arranged around college attendance and in the holidays, there is room for plenty of flexibility on days apart from Fridays and Saturdays.
An ideal worker will be reliable and passionate about supporting this young lady to build her confidence and to access social activities as she is friendly but shy.
A driver with access to a car is required for this role.
DBS/Reference checks will be required for this post – Cost to be met by the local authority.
