PURPOSE
To guarantee the maintenance of mechanical processes in a manner that will ensure the highest reliability within the shift in line with Group standards, safety guidelines and work instructions.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
1. To intervene in case of mechanical breakdown and assist with troubleshooting of equipment problems
2. To repair and perform preventive maintenance as per established standards and plans
3. To check equipment and operating systems and correct wherever necessary
4. To ensure mechanical operations, standards and controls are maintained at high quality.
5. To complete maintenance care obligations and render assistance in equipment repair as necessary
6. To perform quality improvement and cost reduction and productivity as obligated
7. To oversee mechanical devices while in operation and listen for complications using accurate testing and measuring instruments
8. To take out inoperative parts by disassembling devices with the use specific tools
9. To regulate downtime by enlightening production staff on standard preventive maintenance methods
10. To maintain records and files if requested
11. To participate in emergency on-call duty on a rotational basis and work all shifts flexibly when job demands
12. To ensure a high level of housekeeping of the working area is maintained throughout the shift

HOURS OF WORK
18. Full time 12-hour shifts (06:30 -18:30 or 18:30 - 06:30) with a mixture of days and nights. Hours work out at an average of 42 hours per week. The role follows a 4-week rota:
