ROLE: Electrician (Lighting & Electrical Projects) HOURS: Full-Time LOCATION: Bristol At Mitie, our people are our greatest strength, and our promise is to create a place to work where you can thrive and be your best every day. We're looking for an experienced Electrician (Lighting & Electrical Projects) to deliver high-quality lighting and electrical installations across a range of sectors including retail, industrial, commercial, and government sites.
Role Responsibilities:
1. Carry out LED lighting and electrical installations, including minor works, testing, and inspection where applicable.
2. Work closely with the Lighting Project Team, subcontractors, and Project Manager to meet project deadlines and quality standards.
3. Interpret and work from electrical drawings, including installation, circuit, and schematic diagrams.
4. Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification, minimising rework.
5. Accurately complete all required documentation, including reports, timesheets, and inspection records, while maintaining responsibility for company vehicles, tools, and materials.
Required Qualifications:
6. Fully qualified to 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (BS), including -18 certification.
7. Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation and safe working practices.
8. Ability to work nights and stay away from home as required (majority of work outside normal working hours, Monday to Friday).
9. Full UK driving licence (essential).
10. Physical ability to work at heights (up to 3 metres) and lift up to 25kg.
