Interim Accounts Payable & Reconciliation Manager (6 Month FTC) York | Hybrid Working | Up to £50,000 This is an opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable professional to step into a leadership role during a significant finance transformation project. The business is a large and well-established organisation with operations across multiple locations. As part of a wider finance improvement programme, the team is undertaking a major supplier reconciliation and data integrity project to strengthen controls and prepare the AP function for future system enhancements. This six-month fixed term contract will lead a small team responsible for reviewing supplier accounts, improving ledger accuracy and ensuring strong standards are maintained throughout the reconciliation process. The Opportunity You’ll join the transactional finance team during an important period of change and improvement. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you’ll oversee a dedicated reconciliation team responsible for reviewing a large volume of supplier accounts and ensuring the purchase ledger is accurate and well controlled. This role combines team leadership with hands-on technical oversight, ensuring the project progresses efficiently and consistently across the ledger.
