A leading global strategic advisory and consulting firm is seeking a Deputy General Counsel to lead the legal function in EMEA and APAC in a newly created position.
About the Role
This role will have oversight of the regions outside of the US and is a unique opportunity to play a key role in supporting business operations across EMEA and Asia Pacific, working closely with senior leadership and client-facing professionals.
Responsibilities
* Build relationships with professionals across offices in the region.
* Provide legal advice on a range of matters relevant to professional services, including commercial contracts, engagement documents, and employment matters.
* Oversee disputes/litigation and manage external counsel.
Qualifications
* At least 8 years' PQE with experience from a top-tier City law firm.
* In-house experience ideally from a scaling consultancy, US multinational, or professional services organisation.
* European languages are an advantage.
