About Our Service
Our service supports four people with a wide range of needs, including emotional support, learning new coping mechanisms, and expressing themselves. They receive several hours of 1:1 support during the day, with some shared support day and night. Some may self‑harm or display behaviours of concern.
Responsibilities
* Provide 1:1 support during the day and shared support at day and night.
* Adapt to the changing needs of people with enduring mental health problems.
* Support individuals to regain independence through empowerment, positive risk‑taking and out‑of‑the‑box thinking.
* Practice Positive Behaviour Support and understand the psychology behind complex behaviours.
Qualifications and Personal Attributes
* Passion for working with people with mental health, autism, and learning disability.
* Active interest in the psychology behind challenging behaviours.
* Mature, flexible, and adaptable.
* Willingness to learn and practice Positive Behaviour Support.
* Eligibility to drive – we are also looking for drivers.
