We're looking for a proactive and knowledgeable Relocation Adviser to join our Human Resources Division and play a central role in creating and leading the University's relocation service.

About the role:
As part of the Resourcing Team, you will support the University in delivering a high quality, comprehensive relocation service for new staff arriving from the UK and overseas. You'll work closely with recruiting managers, HR colleagues, and external partners to ensure that new starters have the information and support they need to transition smoothly into their roles - from practical guidance on housing and local services to tailored advice for senior staff and international hires.
You will also help develop and refine the University's relocation policies, guidance and processes, ensuring they are consistent, inclusive and aligned with broader recruitment and talent attraction priorities.
This is a varied and rewarding role where your expertise will directly influence our ability to attract and retain world class talent.
What you'll be doing:
Leading the development and delivery of relocation procedures and guidance to ensure consistent, high quality support for new staff.
Coordinating relocation services across the University, including housing, local services and onboarding support.
Providing expert relocation advice, including on complex and senior appointments, to hiring managers and HR colleagues.
Using data and insight to shape relocation guidance and contribute to wider talent attraction strategies.
Managing supplier relationships and overseeing key relocation processes, including expenses reimbursement.
Working collaboratively with colleagues across Estates, Finance, HR and external partners to enhance the University's relocation service.
We're looking for someone who has/is:
Solid understanding of domestic and international relocation issues, preferably with experience of supporting relocation in a large or complex organisation.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across a wide range of stakeholders.
Highly organised and proactive, able to manage a busy and varied workload balancing day to day delivery with longer term planning.
Confident using Microsoft Office and online systems.
