Are you a motivated and customer-focused individual looking for a rewarding opportunity? DEBRA, the butterfly skin charity, is seeking a dedicated Assistant Shop Manager to join our team in Dorking. This is a permanent, part-time position where you will play a vital role in the successful operation of our shop, helping us to raise essential funds and awareness.

* Location: DEBRA Shop, Dorking
* Contract: Permanent
* Hours: Part-time, 21 hours per week, 3 days out of 7
* Pay: £12.71 per hour
* Salary: £13,879.32 per annum

What you’ll be doing:
This is a hands-on role with varied responsibilities. You will support the Shop Manager in daily shop management, including:
* Sorting, pricing, and displaying donated items, including clothing, books, and homeware.
* Creating attractive window and in-store displays to maximise sales.
* Providing exceptional customer service and fostering a welcoming shopping environment.
* Maintaining shop floor standards and ensuring a clean and organised environment.
* Managing stock levels, involving physical handling and movement of goods.
* Recruiting, training, and supporting volunteers.
* Handling financial transactions and ensuring premises security.
About You:
* You possess strong teamwork and communication skills.
* You are organised, proactive, and able to use your initiative.
* You are comfortable with the physical demands of the role, including stock handling.
* You are passionate about delivering excellent customer service.
