Job Summary
Pertemps are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Panel Builder.
In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for assembling, wiring, soldering and testing electrical control panels in accordance with engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and established internal standards. The position requires high-quality workmanship, strict adherence to health and safety requirements, and the ability to support the timely delivery of industrial automation and control system solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Panel Assembly & Wiring
1. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layout drawings, and bill of materials.
2. Assemble control panels, enclosures, backplates, DIN rails, and component mounting hardware.
3. Perform point-to-point wiring using proper routing, labelling, and wire-management practices.
4. Install electrical components such as breakers, relays, PLCs, terminal blocks, VFDs, and communication modules.
