Technical Operations Manager
This is an exciting opportunity to lead a team of maintenance professionals in ensuring the upkeep and compliance of our estate with statutory regulations and service level agreements. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the maintenance workload through our computerised maintenance management system, planning and directing engineers and operatives to carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance, and monitoring local and national contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead a team of maintenance engineers and operatives to ensure compliance with statutory regulations and service level agreements.
* Manage the maintenance workload through our computerised maintenance management system.
* Plan and direct engineers and operatives to carry out reactive and planned preventative maintenance.
* Monitor local and national contracts.
Requirements:
* Recognised apprenticeship qualification in a relevant building-related discipline such as Carpentry & Joinery to a minimum of SVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
* HNC in an engineering subject desirable.
* Experience of building maintenance and repair work meeting fire and locking compliance.
* Ability to prioritise, forward plan, and manage competing demands to ensure outputs are delivered on time.
* Sound knowledge of relevant legislation including Health & Safety, Safe Systems of Work.
* Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to provide practical and creative solutions to resourcing and technical issues.
