We are looking for an experienced Senior Tax Manager to join a dynamic accountancy practice in Stockton. This senior role is ideal for a CTA-qualified professional with significant practice experience, who is looking to take a leadership position and advise a portfolio of high-value clients.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead a portfolio of corporate and personal clients, providing strategic tax advice.
* Deliver expertise in Inheritance Tax planning, company reorganisations, and other complex tax matters.
* Oversee preparation and review of corporate and personal tax returns, ensuring compliance with UK tax legislation.
* Mentor and develop junior and mid-level tax staff.
* Keep up to date with UK tax legislation and provide proactive advice to clients.
* Work collaboratively with senior colleagues to identify business growth opportunities.
Skills And Experience
* CTA qualified (Chartered Tax Adviser) essential.
* Extensive experience working in a UK accountancy practice.
* Proven experience with Inheritance Tax planning and company reorganisations.
* Strong technical knowledge across corporate and personal tax.
* Excellent client relationship and communication skills.
* Leadership experience, with ability to mentor and guide junior staff.
