About The Role This role is integral to shaping the next generation of educators by delivering high-quality teacher education and training. You will be responsible for equipping future teachers with the knowledge, skills, and understanding required to become effective professionals in diverse educational settings. Key duties include the planning and delivery of engaging and effective teaching sessions, contributing to curriculum development, assessing learner progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment. You will also play an active role in course evaluation and improvement, carry out teaching observations, and support college-wide events and recruitment activities. About You You will hold a teaching qualification at Level 5 or above, relevant to the Further Education and Skills sector, along with a Level 3 or higher qualification in your subject specialism. You'll also have Maths and English qualifications at a minimum of Level 2. With at least three years of experience successfully managing learner cohorts and achieving outcomes above national benchmarks, you bring a strong track record of driving learner success. You have also contributed meaningfully to strategic planning and the continuous improvement of teaching standards, demonstrating your commitment to quality and innovation in education.
