Job description: Financial Reporting, Planning & Analysis Assist with the plants monthly closing cycle by performing month-end reviews and analyses, ensuring accurate financial records and providing commentary on plant performance. Support the timely preparation of periodic and ad-hoc management reports for business management, Corporate Finance, and executives. Analyze financial data, develop financial models, and perform multiple scenario analyses to drive optimal decision-making. Conduct variance analysis, identify trends, and recommend improvements based on data insights. Interpret comparative analyses and recommend appropriate actions. Finance Business Partnership & Operational Support Analyze and review product profitability, leveraging manufacturing and costing knowledge to support Operations in understanding product portfolio returns. Support investment decisions with strong economic and analytical skills. Build and maintain strong relationships with internal customers, particularly Operations teams, anticipating their needs and providing timely financial analyses and project support. Collaborate with Operations to establish and report on KPIs, analyzing expenses and business metrics to identify issues and support operational decisions. Identify, recommend, and support continuous process improvements, including standardization, automation, and optimization. Research market trends and competitor information to inform strategic initiatives. Deliver ongoing finance training to plant operations teams on financial metrics and decision-making frameworks. Required profile: Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related business field. Several years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial analysis roles. Strong economic and critical thinking skills, with a genuine curiosity and drive to understand the business deeply. Comfortable collaborating with a broad range of individuals and capabilities. Effective verbal and written communicator who can clearly express ideas across functions and levels. Highly organized with the ability to plan and self-manage workload independently and within a team setting. What Will Put You Ahead Experience working with SAP, OneStream, or similar large ERP systems. Advanced proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, lookups, data modeling, forecasting, macros). Practical manufacturing and costing knowledge that underpins budgeting, forecasting, and profitability analysis. Strong financial modeling skills, able to run multiple scenarios and interpret complex data sets to support optimal decisions. Familiarity with business/data analysis and visualization tools such as Python, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, or SQL. Flexibility and adaptability to prioritize and lead change in a dynamic environment, with a focus on process improvement.
