Maintenance Team Lead
Farnborough
Up to £37.5K + overtime (up to double time)
RPS are working in conjunction with a global, tier 1 aeropace manufacturer who are looking for a Maintenance Team Lead to join them to oversee the Farnborough facilty.
Key Responsibilities
1. Inspects plant and evaluates use of space and facilities.
2. Analyzes firms HVAC systems, computer network, lighting and other factors.
3. Plans, budgets and schedules facilities modifications including cost estimates, bid sheets, layouts, and contracts for construction and acquisitions.
4. Performs audits to support facility planning.
5. Acts as liaison to public utility, environmental and energy agencies.
6. Manages subordinate supervisors in the Maintenance Department.
Qualifications/Skills/Experience
Essential
7. Must possess an outstanding degree of judgment, organization, planning, initiative, flexibility and creativity
8. Must be able to perform calmly and reasonably under pressure from demand for production and other exigencies
9. Requires capability to be resourceful and very creative with machinery and facilities
10. Physical capability of lifting materials up to 50 pounds and carrying up and down steps, walking to various programs as the situation warrants
11. Two to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education/experience
