Job description We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Controller to join our supply chain team within the medical device sector. This role is vital in maintaining accurate stock control, ensuring regulatory compliance, and supporting the efficient flow of components and finished goods in a highly regulated environment. Key Responsibilities: Review and improve procurement procedures to enhance traceability and reduce untracked or ad hoc purchases Define and manage minimum and maximum stock levels to maintain appropriate inventory holdings Analyse stock trends and support demand forecasting and inventory planning Enhance the Kanban process to improve visibility, accuracy, and replenishment speed Monitor inventory turnover, aged stock, and slow-moving items; recommend actions to reduce waste and optimise working capital Work closely with the Procurement team to raise and expedite purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of materials Maintain accurate part numbers and Bills of Materials (BOMs) within SAP Skills and Experience: Previous experience in inventory control within the medical device, pharmaceutical, or healthcare manufacturing industries Strong working knowledge of SAP/ERP systems and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel Familiarity with ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 standards Experience managing stock parameters such as reorder points, safety stock, and lead times in a regulated environment Understanding of BOM structures, part number creation, and master data accuracy in ERP systems Experience in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment Desirable Qualifications: Certification in inventory control or formal training in stock management ADZN1_UKTJ
