Role: Chef de Partie (Grill)
We're hiring a chef de partie to lead our busy Grill section. As the Grill CDP, you'll own mise en place, fire/heat management, and consistent execution during peak service.
Pay & Hours
* Starting pay from £16.00 per hour
* 44–48 hours per week on a fair, rotating rota
* Staff meals, paid holiday & workplace pension (statutory)
What you'll do
* Run the Grill section as a chef de partie: prep, cook, taste, and plate to spec
* Manage flames/temperatures (chargrill/plancha), timing, and cross-station coordination
* Cook proteins and veg to temp; finish with Eastern Med marinades, dressings, and garnishes
* Maintain HACCP, allergen, and food-safety standards; keep the section immaculate
* Control stock, minimise waste, and support/coach Commis on the grill
What you'll bring
* Proven chef de partie/CDP experience on a busy grill in a quality kitchen
* Pace with accuracy; strong communication at the pass
* Knowledge of Mediterranean flavours (za'atar, sumac, tahini, fresh herbs, citrus)
* Pride in consistency, cleanliness, and detail under pressure
* Flexible for evenings/weekends; right to work in the UK
