CAD Technician
CAD Technician required to work for an industry-leading company specialising in external flooring, representing a number of brands. We work closely with architects, main contractors and clients, providing estimating and take off services to support specification and installation for exciting projects in London and across the UK.
The successful candidate will ideally have a background working within the construction industry.
This is an office-based role; we ideally want someone living locally, or someone who’s commute is less than 15miles.
What you will be doing
* Working closely with other members of the technical team
* Understanding information from drawings, schedules and specifications
* Preparation of technical detail drawings from sketches, using CAD software
* Preparation of drawing showing layouts & proposed solutions
* Calculations of materials where required
* Production of accurate 2D drawings and 3D models
* Site take off surveys
* Liaison with the project team and attend project meetings
* Respond to all technical queries and issues that may arise during the project

* Experience of working in a construction and / or technical environment
* Team player, capable of meeting deadlines
* The right to work in UK
* Ideally be available immediately
