A thoughtful and engaging Religious Education Teacher is required for a full-time position in a school in Enfield, commencing in September (though an earlier start ASAP may be considered). The successful candidate will guide students across Key Stages 3 to 5, exploring diverse religious and ethical perspectives.
Responsibilities
* Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging Religious Education Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5.
* Prepare students effectively for GCSE and A-Level Religious Studies examinations.
* Foster a classroom atmosphere that encourages respectful dialogue and critical analysis of religious and ethical issues.
* Assess and monitor student progress in Religious Education, providing insightful feedback to support their understanding.
Requirements
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent with a specialism in Religious Education or Theology.
* Demonstrated experience teaching Religious Education Teacher lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5.
* A strong academic background in religious studies and a passion for exploring different belief systems and ethical frameworks.
* Excellent communication and facilitation skills, capable of leading sensitive and engaging discussions with students.
* Outer London Payscale.
* Supportive and collaborative Humanities department.
* Access to a range of resources for teaching Religious Education.
