Our client is a large national main contractor, whom are rapidly growing across multiple sectors across the UK. They predominantly work across themercial sector, including large new builds such as hospitals, schools and industrial units. However they also work on civil projects such as flood defence and nuclear projects.
Your new role
This planner vacancy is a growth vacancy, to supplement the existing 1`2 strong planning team across multiple offices.
This vacancy will their midlands based planner to work on the live projects in this area - and as such we are looking for an experienced candidate who can work autonomously.
This role with be a hybrid role, with full autonomy to work from home your midlands based project or their Birmingham regional office.
You will spend 80% of your time working on a live project(s), with 20% of your time working on pre construction planning.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be a construction professional, such as a Project manager by background.
You will have used Power Projects as your main software.
Civils planners with P6 experience will also be considered.
You have a strong knowledge of NEC form of contract
What you'll get in return
1. Excellent basic salary based on capability & experience.
2. 37½ hour week, flexible working starting between 08:00-09:00 & finishing between 16:00-17:00.
3. Up to 2 days working from home per week.
4. 33 days holiday per year, +1 additional day per every 3 years service.
5. Car allowance between £6,200 & £7,100 per year
6. Employer pension contribution of 6%, with min. employee contribution 3%.
