Overview
We are looking for a dedicated, experienced Care Worker to join our team in either a residential care home or a small learning disability home in Stoke‑On‑Trent. You will choose the days and shifts you wish to work and they can be changed weekly, giving you complete flexibility around your other commitments and a great work‑life balance.
Responsibilities
* Provide high‑quality, personalised care and support to adults in a residential care home or learning disability home
* Communicate effectively with the resident, their family, team members and external agencies
* Support residents with daily living activities, medication administration and health monitoring
* Assist with planning, preparation and serving meals
* Maintain accurate and timely documentation and use electronic care systems
Qualifications
* At least 6 months care experience in a residential care home or learning disability home as a Care Assistant, Care Worker or Support Worker
* A passion for delivering great care and support, motivating and ensuring adults thrive in the environment
* Good spoken English
* The right to work in the UK
Hours of Work
We have late, early, long days, nights and weekend shifts available. We are happy to work with any availability but are unable to offer school hours due to the shift patterns of the homes that we work with.
Pay & Benefits
* Weekly pay direct into your bank account each Friday following the week you worked
* 28 days annual leave, accruing at 12% of hourly pay based on hours worked
* Contract – you will be a ‘temp’. Many of our staff have been with us for 5 years, some have taken maternity leave, others have found other jobs – then returned to Cream Care
